This is another problem from the book "Chess Tactics" by Paul Littlewood. Hopefully I won't get sued for copyright infringement! It is a position from Reilly-Alexander, Hastings 1931.
Man, I looked at this for 20 minutes! I got so hung up on 1.Qxg7 that I couldn't see anything else. I was determined to make that move work and never did! This was a good little wakeup call for me to remember to look at ALL possible moves during my tournament tomorrow!

That's a good one. My first guess was 1.Qxg7+ but then I realized that 1...Kxf7 2.Nd5+ Qe5 and White has almost nothing. The solution is 1.Nd5! :)

After 1.Nd5, if 1...cxd5, then 2.Qxg7#.
If 1...Bxd4 2.Nxe7+ Kg7 3.Bxd4+ and White is up a piece.
